Jo Nesbo's Police Recently Released

The long wait is over! Well, at least for Norwegians, that is. The tenth installment of the Harry Hole series, Politi, was recently released last June 6, Thursday. With nearly a thousand people attending the release party, arranged by Aschehoug, Jo Nesbo's Norwegian publisher, it's no question that Harry Hole is indeed a sought after anti-hero, and readers just keep coming back for more.

Selling over 200,000 copies on the first print-run, and more than 100,000 copies on its second, Jo Nesbo is making history.

With the release of the book, fans would be clawing their way to get a copy as soon as possible, just so they could ease the nagging curiosity as to the aftermath of Harry's "supposed" death. Though we avid readers know that our fave policeman survives, it would still be a great relief to put a tangible proof to all the theories and questions surrounding the heartbreaking ending of the Phantom.

The English version of the book, Police, will be released fall of this year, and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
