I liked how the story has a unique concept, somewhat a story within a story. However, it failed to sustain my excitement and curiosity to the point where it was on the verge of disappointment. There was less action described and more details that seemed predictable. Although the author made sure to apply some details to make every character relatable and relevant, it was not strong enough to capture the reader's interest. Though The Salinger Contract was not an action-packed fast-paced novel, it was still a nice read with a certain twist incorporated.
